Dear OLA members,
The Niagara Landowners Association had their founding meeting on April 18 at the Rockway Community Centre. It was a very successful meeting with a crowd of about 150 very enthused people. There were presentations by Jack MacLaren - president, Jamie MacMaster - vice-president, Gary Otten - president of the Peterborough L.A., Jim Pickens of Glengarry L.A. and Herb Schnick, Bill Scott and others from Niagara area. Dave Honey did an excellent job of chairing the meeting. There was keen interest in this founding meeting of the Niagara Landowners Association with many stories and good questions and discussion. There was great enthusiasm in the hall and no one wanted to go home early.
On behalf of the Ontario Landowners Association, I welcome the Niagara Landowners Association as the newest member of the Ontario Landowners Association.
